Green bronze, old metal,

memory of earth and olive tree

precise material forged and fed

trimmed from the rules of the forge

the effective line, the divine process,

the necessary contour of the watchtower

the limit of the sun, the moon, the lane

orb between the hands like a heart

like the bread kneaded from the Earth

the flour that slowly grinned the wheel of time

perfumed schrubs hanging from the ceiling, the grain,

life to summon the Gods, banquet,

weather and fight to sleep without extermination

that protection conforms each eddy, the smoke,

of our exquisite home delicacies

the bronze tonality in the skin, the loom of dreams

the perfect arms for the defence

the rubbing of the porcelain between the lips

with the immutable kiss of the perfumed wine 

from the amphoras worked in the fire

live coal ember green bronze as enemy rages,

green bronze, Life, as friendly peace.
